Finally getting to relax a little today. Busy morning cleaning cages. Finished those by 11am and then left right after that. Went shopping for food at the co-op and a few other places. Got lots of goodies for tomorrow. Finished making the chicken broth I started the other day. Jars are cooling now. And, then ... Ezra beat up my mom again ... clawed her arm real good. So, swathed her in coconut oil and band-aids. She brings it on herself and then blames him ... :(

Wish I'd had my camera earlier when I was driving to Davis. A turkey flew across my hood. Seriously! There are quite a few wild turkeys that live in and around Davis. This one was just outside of town. Luckily, I saw him before he took flight, so had slowed down already. Davis actually has a big wild flock that roams around town and I think there is an ordinance to protect them (or possibly just restrictions on hunting them within city limits ... something like that.)
