Woke up to escaping babies!
This one was still in the cage. Had to hunt for the other! It was wrapped in the sheets behind the cage (outside of it!) and I don't think he ate last night. He's a bit thin! Hope he makes it! I may have to put them in a different nest that has a higher doorsill ...

Finally home and got all my paperwork done. Waiting for dinner. So tired!

Happiness is something that comes into our lives through doors we don't even remember leaving open.

Look at everything as though you are seeing it either for the first or last time. Then your time on earth will be filled with glory.

Both of the bunnies seem fine tonight, but I made them a different nest box with a higher sill. Hopefully, they won't be able to get out of it again. Right now, their heads are so small, they can (obviously) just slip out the bars of the cage ... Next week, their heads will be too big to do that. If this doesn't work, we'll have to weave some material through the cage bars, like a crib bumper.

Tomorrow, the male hamster pups graduate to their own room. Fun. They are all much more friendly than their mother! They are all to the point where they all run to the side of the tank that I put my hand down in and want to be rubbed. A couple are still a bit jumpy, but will follow the crowd.
