July 29-30, 2014

July 29

Ezra ate raw ground lamb with a bit of freeze-dried raw liver on top. TWO spoonfuls! My mom was outside. ;) Ha! I should have taken a picture! He was 'shaking' his prey! It's going slow, but he is wanting this food now!

July 30

Well, I didn't get much blogging done yesterday! I read most of the day after I got home from work. I did get the doves moved back to the dove room, though! I need to stop at Home Depot and get 4 more wheels for the shelves, too.

I decided to work today. I have one store here in Woodland that I have enough gas to get to. I could ride my bike, too, but it's going to be way too hot later ...

I have to stop at the post office, too. Shipping the decanter that was bought on eBay. Also have to stop at the library to return a book.

I got the store serviced, stopped at the post office and the library. Did not stop at Home Depot. Might do that tomorrow.

Have another load of laundry in the dryer.

My mom has 2 of the shutters painted and the other 2 need another coat. So, she will be done with those by the weekend, it looks like.

July 28, 2014

Yay! The heatwave broke. It only got to 98°! But, more 100s are still predicted.

I just sold the Glen Campbell decanter on eBay! Gotta package it up good tomorrow and ship on Wed. morning. I've got a few more decanters to get listed in the future.

I got 3 stores serviced in Davis today. Stopped at the co-op and they had no bunny greens, so I'll have to go again tomorrow after I service 2 stores in Davis. Then, I will be off on Wed.

I took the shelves apart that the doves' cages are on and made 2 separate units so I could fit the 3 cages and the hamster-to-be tank on them. Too dark in here to take a picture ...

I finished Laurien Berenson's Watchdog and have now started reading Hush Puppy. These are such fun books! Makes me miss dog shows!

July 27, 2014

I got a bit more painting done today. Nearly half-way across the top of the windows. That peak is going to be a little tricky to do. But, I will do that next weekend. My mom has one of the shutters completely painted and has started on a second one. She'll probably have all 4 of them done by the end of the week.
I moved Paloma into a bigger cage. I found my extra perches out in the shed. She's much happier and has really been preening since I moved her. Much more room to spread her wings.
I made a quick dinner tonight. I found these recipes: Stir-Fried Purslane, Chinese Style & Bacon-Wrapped Cheese-Stuffed Chili Pepper,
Of course, I adapted them a bit! I fried up chopped bacon and then fried the purslane and other ingredients (omitted the oils in the recipe) with it. OMG. That was so good! I didn't have enough bacon to wrap the peppers, so just laid a small piece on top of each stuffed pepper. I baked them at 350° for about 30 minutes rather than barbecued. And, oooooowweeeee, they were spicy hot. But, soooo good.
Leftovers for the freezer!
I found a ringneck dove group on FaceBook! So much good info on there. I need to get some close-up identifying pics of my doves (their eyes, beaks, feet and tail bars) to make sure which type of whites I have and Paloma's genetic color, too. Lots of pics to compare them to. I love color genetics! I've only really studied them in-depth in dogs and mice. I want to learn more on hamsters, too.

Gah! My mom wants to move the doves back into the other room. She's the one that wanted them in the living room!! I told her I didn't want them in here since the 'dove room' is where I wanted them all along. And, now she is wanting to move the big table again into spaces it won't fit without moving EVERYTHING else! I don't want to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to work tomorrow. I'm not moving furniture now. My shoulder hurts from painting and hauling a ladder around today and moving furniture YESTERDAY! Grump. Now she's getting pissy at me ... great.

OK. Crisis averted. I told her to wait until Wednesday since I am off that day due to no gas for the car by then. I doubt she will wait until then, though. She'll try moving things herself and then I'll have to finish it all ... and the wheels will come off of the bird shelves ... I can just see it all now ... ugh. Yeah ... worse case scenarios are my life.

July 26, 2014

Finally taking some time to blog.
We re-arranged some furniture (again) after I cleaned cages.
I actually re-modeled the 2 big dove cages. I took the grill floors out. They are hard to keep clean and the doves always waste so much seed because they couldn't get to what they threw out of their cups onto their floor. Now, they can. I already noticed a difference tonight. Hardly any seeds on their floor/tray because they are going down to get the seeds.
I did a 'vent' check on Dovelet and Paloma. I won't be positive until they are older and I can observe their behavior. But, I think Dovelet is male and Paloma is female! Yay! Hope I am right. Next week, I'll be setting up the new cage and moving them into it. Dovelet is starting to eat from the seed cup, but Little Girl and Big Boy are still feeding him, too.
And, we moved the doves into the living room ... I'm not really happy about that. But, until I get rid of some of our excess furniture, it will do.
I nearly ran out of gas yesterday. I put $25 of gas in the tank on Thursday! I should not have had the low gas light come on yesterday as I was pulling into the mobile home park! The car is a gas hog! I have $10 I can put in the tank on Monday or I can get a daily bus pass for $6 so I can get some stores done in Davis ... not sure which to do, yet ... either way, Tues. & Wed. I will be staying home. I don't have enough cash in my PayPal to transfer, either. Hopefully, I can fill the tank up on Thursday ...

I have a couple more things I've put up for sale at all the local FaceBook groups.

July 24, 2014

Good day, so far. Went to the farm and the 2 youngest girls helped me get the milk and eggs (their parents had walked over to their grandpa's property.) Took that home, then got gas and some hay and millet sprays at the pet shop. I got to my store and they had already done the reset! I just had to make a few adjustments and fix a couple of things. That was nice. Stopped at the Goodwill down the street from there that is packing up to move to a new location. Everything was discounted! I found a big cage and a reptile tank! $15 for both! Sold! I will be getting hamsters for the tank (gave my mom the choice of mice or hamsters ...) The cage will be used for the doves until I can get a nicer flight cage. Then, it will also be for hamsters. After that, I went to the co-op for a few groceries and free bunny greens. I called the lady with the dove from there to make sure she was home and headed to Sacramento. I am in love with this little dove! It's a tufted Ringneck! Not very common mutation. I'm trying to figure out the color, as it is not quite wild-type. I've been studying the dove genetics page since I got home. And, I realized that my white doves are not actually white! Genetically they are Clear Whites (they have orange eyes) and Black-eyed (aka Bull-eyed) Whites ... Wish I could find some better pics to compare to the new baby to figure out the actual color.
Here's pics of the new baby! Ezra is checking things out. See the cute little tuft of feathers on the forehead!

Meet Paloma! (Spanish for dove ...) Nickname will be Pal!

July 23, 2014

I didn't work today. So, I finally tore the old wooden console TV apart. My mom wants to use the cabinet for something ... So, the tube and all the wiring, etc. is in the car to be taken to recycling tomorrow. I also finally hammered in the stake to help support the lemon tree.
I made fresh hummingbird nectar and milk kefir.
Now, I am listing stuff ...

Auction: 10 various used US stamps!

We will have a new addition to the critter family tomorrow! I'll be picking it up between store visits. So, lots of traveling tomorrow. Just talked to the lady on the phone.

Tomorrow will be a looooong day! Go to the farm in Yolo for milk; bring it home; go to Dixon to do a big project; then to the co-op in Davis; then to Sacramento to recycle the TV parts and to pick up the dove; bring it home; then service 2 stores in Woodland ... in between all that is get gas for the car, pay bills, buy food ...

I need to clean up one of my old cages, as the little one I bought earlier this month will not be big enough long-term. I will use it tomorrow as a travel cage, though.

Watching Hot In Cleveland for the first time. Chris Colfer is in it tonight. Funny! Love Betty White, and Tim Daly, but doubt I will watch again.

July 22, 2014

It's been a nice day. I woke to the sound of rain on the carport awning. I went out and stood in it for a while. It was nice. Didn't last long, though ... I got sprinkled on later in the morning when I was in Davis, too.
I got my 2 weekly Davis stores serviced and also went to the co-op and got bunny greens. Plus, put in a request for them to start carrying Sun Cups. I loooove them. They are little chocolate/sunflower seed butter cups. And, they have none of the extra crap ingredients of those 'other' cups.

Well, my mom wants to keep the Dovelet ... Now, I need to get another flight cage and find a dove with some other bloodlines. I don't want mine to get too inbred (they already are, really ...) I want to add color, so really want to find a brown or pied Ringneck. But, that will have to wait until I figure out this one's gender ... I'd love to get some Diamond doves and quail, too ... but, know I can't ... I don't have room to put in a cage with enough floor space for the quail.
I've also decided that I am going to start raising mice and/or hamsters again. I haven't for 25 years, so need to be picky and slowly stock up on cages, etc. first. I need to get rid of some of the excess furniture around here, too, so I have room for shelves for the cages. I'm going to get more rolling shelves like I have the doves' cages on. I'll be breeding them for pet sales, feeder sales and for food for Nikky & Ezra. If I breed any exceptional ones, they'll be kept back until I have some really good show specimens, too. I used to have quite a few champion rodents and was really into color breeding back in the '80s. I miss that ... I still have all my books, etc. on color genetics ... Other than the cages and initial stock, they will be free to upkeep. I shred all the paper I will need for their trays and their food will be foraged or from the co-op (free bunny greens ...) and other free foodsources.

I also want to get 2 rabbit does ... but, still not decided about that since I am so limited on space for more large cages inside until I get rid of some of the furniture ... plus, the bucks are already at their prime breeding age ... :/

July 20, 2014

I did some painting this morning. Not as much as I wanted to do, but my bad shoulder (left) has been bothering me the past few days. Due to where I had to put the ladder, I mainly used my left hand for painting, which really aggravated it.
So, next Friday or Sunday, I should be able to get the middle part done.

I do not like water kefir. No matter what I add to it, I can't get it to taste good ... Once these bottles are gone, I'm going to stick with kombucha. I have 4 more bottles of water kefir left to finish ...

It's apparently National Ice Cream Day. I have none. Am sad ... :/

OK. Feeding Ezra raw is not going to work. My mom is impossible. She's over-fed him the freeze-dried raw. A bag that should have lasted 2 weeks has only lasted 6 days! She won't give him the fresh raw! Every time I feed him fresh, she goes behind and adds the freeze-dried, so he eats what is on top ... I don't have the money to get him more until Thursday ... I have plenty of fresh food to last until next month for both Nikky and him!

We've been teased the past couple of days with lots of clouds. But, we got no rain in my area. Very disappointing. But, at least the temps were down.

July 19, 2014

I'm wore out. Got all the cages cleaned, critters fed, floors done. Did a little extra cleaning, too, so just got finished with all that in time to feed everyone lunch ... ugh. Still need to clean the dog yard, too. Second load of laundry is washing ... And, the hummers need fresh nectar! Later, I need to refresh the kombucha and bottle some for a second ferment. I'm having a raw kefir smoothie for lunch, so need to make a new batch of milk kefir, too ... never-ending stuff to do ...

Oh, I gave Ezra some pork chunks and ground turkey (same as Nikky) with very little freeze-dried turkey on it. He ate half of it! He even 'shook' a chunk of pork! Progress!

Gah. Almost time for Ezra to get his YEARLY rabies shot. Ugh. Wish they were still 3-year shots like for dogs ... I'll be taking him to the Tractor Supply down the road on August 2. VIP Pet Care Clinic.

What a lazy afternoon ... my bad shoulder is bothering me ... need to ice it. I really should be listing some things online ... just don't feel like it. Going to read. I just put in a request at my library for the next Laurien Berenson book, Hair of the Dog. I'm half-done with Dog Eat Dog, so hopefully, it will be in soon (coming from another library ...)

Finished that book. Guess I'll finish reading Mahu by Neil S. Plakcy next ...

Oh, wow! I just found the rest of the Laurien Berenson's books on the Internet Archive's Open Library! Yay!

July 18, 2014

Well, I really rushed around this morning, in hopes I would make it to the Tuleyome orientation meeting at noon ... I was about 25 minutes late ... but, I got there and I filled out the volunteer paperwork. Hopefully, I'll pass the background check. I should know next week.
I got the store serviced in Sacramento this morning after stopping at the co-op in Davis for bunny greens (they were out yesterday afternoon when I was there!) Then, I rushed through Sacramento lunch-time traffic to get to the meeting ... after that I ran to the post office to ship a birthday present and a swap and get a few groceries to make dinner.
I made this yummy recipe for dinner: Chicken Apple Salad It was quick and easy! Nikky had some of the chicken before I fried it up in bacon fat. I didn't have any pecans, so I chopped up some pine nuts and pumpkin seeds. And, used dried cranberries in place of raisins. And raw cream instead of coconut cream. Yummy! I also had a pear and raw milk with potato starch.

July 16, 2014

I had a frustrating work day. Thank goodness it is over!

But, my little Nikky tackled her first raw chicken leg and won! She ate half of it! She is 10 lbs. and gets about 3 ounces of raw food a day. I think she got a little more today. So, tomorrow, I'll have to cut back a bit as she'll be having the other half of the leg for dinner.
My little wolf!
If only I could get my mom's negative attitude adjusted about what Ezra will and will not eat ... her negativity just bleeds all over what I try to feed him. 'Oh, he won't like that ... he won't eat that ... yadda, yadda ...' Frustrating ... At least we've got him onto freeze-dried raw. He LOVES that, regardless of what she keeps saying. And, he loves raw milk. No more kibble crap and no more canned crap for my babies!

If only I could get the doves to eat foods other than packaged seed mixes ... all my babies would be on their natural foods. But, everything I try them on, they poop on and ignore ... even the new dovelet ... at least I got them to use sticks and Bermuda grass to make their nests now ... I'll keep trying non-packaged foods, too.

July 15, 2014

Another hot day, but not as hot as the past 2! I got home earlier than I expected. I got my 2 weekly stores in Davis done. Stopped at the co-op for critter food. I didn't stop at the blackberry bushes to forage, though, because I was tail-gated by a big rig the whole length of Road 102! I was afraid to pull off the road! Very aggravating.

I'm trying to get into my work website, but it is just not co-operating! I need to get my stores entered. The little 'connecting' icon is just going round-and-round. I'm having zero trouble with any other website and my signal is very good. It's just this website ...

My mom finished painting before I left this morning. The paint is really soaking into the old wood, so she'll have to do another couple of coats, we think.

I harvested our 2 little chili peppers and we had them chopped in scrambled eggs and ground buffalo. I don't think any of the other chili pepper plants are going to do anything. They are over-run with little aphid creatures and I've been too lazy to spray them every day. :(

Well I found homes for the two freebies I listed with some local groups. I'm meeting the people who want them in the morning at the market around the corner. So, the bible and the insulated cup will have new homes. Now, if I can just move the stuff I want money for!

Got all the critters in bed. Time to watch another Anthony Starke show. Tonight, I think I'll watch an old episode of Beverly Hills, 90210 that he was in.

July 14, 2014

Not working today. Feel blah and have a bit of a fever. Plus, mouth ulcers ... I used to have them chronically since childhood. Mostly due to a caffeine allergy ... I rarely get them anymore, even though I eat cacao pretty much daily in my homemade chocolate milk ... but, the stress I had last week wore me down, I think ... I do need to run to the post office in a few minutes to ship my sold items, though.

Foraged for the bucks this morning for their breakfast and dinner. I'll have to tomorrow morning, too.

Just got back from the post office and also got some meat from BelAir since I was there (the post office annex is inside the grocery store.) Got home and brought the bucks in. It's already too damn hot out there for them and me! My mom painted half of the section under the windows before I left. Little-by-little, it's getting done!
I portioned some of the organic chicken legs I bought. Three legs for Nikky this week. And, I bought lamb shoulder chops for lunch. I'll cut a piece off for Nikky's lunch, too.

Having some blackberry kombucha on ice and getting ready to list a few things online.

Just listed on eBay and I'll be listing in the local groups, too.

I posted a bunch of stuff in the local FaceBook groups, too, but I can't get the darn embed function to work today ... grrr.

It's 104°F. I'm melting ...

105°F ...

Oh, great. Grumpy Cat is in a HoneyNut CheeriOs commercial! Geesh ...

I want to scream. My work projects and schedule are so screwed up already this week. I just get everything organized and get emails about changes ... ugh. And, I do not want to work Friday. I have had plans to go to a local orientation meeting of one of my nature MeetUp groups on my calendar for weeks!

Sunday, July 13, 2014

July 13, 2014

Busy morning. I had to run to the BelAir market around the corner. I forgot to get potato starch the other day and my mom was complaining that we were out. So, I got that and some pork chops to make for lunch. Came home and got all the nails out of the front wall. Then, got the ladder out and set up so I could get the shutters down. Man, talk about cheap crap! I wish I had the money to replace them! They are plastic! I thought they were wood! I am disappointed! One of them has a cracked slat I will have to fix before my mom paints them next week. Found the original color of the trailer. Dark brown! The screw heads were really stripped, so I had a heck of a time getting some of them out. When I was done, I ran to Home Depot and got replacement screws. I just have to spray paint them black. The shutters are going to be the same reddish color as the trim, but the screw-heads will be black.
So. Next weekend, my project is to paint above and beside the windows. My mom is going to do under the windows as far as she can reach. Then, we'll go around the whole house and do touch-ups before I tackle the trim. Once that is all done, I will finally get to finishing the project of re-doing the caulk around all the windows & doors and replacing all the screws around them and then paint around them. I know that should have all been done first, but I was tired of the nagging about getting the painting done, etc. So, all the house will hopefully be done by September. Thirteen months after I started this project ... After that will be the little things, like replacing all of the light fixtures to a matched set; replacing the stair rail; and a long list of other things that aren't a rush.

Now, to make lunch and then get to listing some more things online!

AAAARRRGGHH!!!!! And, in an effort to never allow my toe to heal ... I just jammed it on one of the wheels of my office chair ... I repeat ... AAAARRRGGHH!!!!!

Pork chops for lunch. Cut some off for Nikky and Ezra. They BOTH liked it! Ezra is getting on the raw food bandwagon slowly, but surely.  Then, fried the rest in butter with some lemon/pepper seasoning for me and my mom. I'm also having my first bottle of homemade water kefir. I definitely left it too long on the first ferment! Even adding the blackberry for the second ferment didn't help. So, I added some lemon simple sugar to sweeten it. That helped some. But, next time I certainly won't leave it so long!

I almost wish my foot was numb ... but, that would just cause more problems ... :(

OK. I'm not accomplishing much today. Brought the bucks in. They had a couple of grapes for a lunch treat. And ... I cleaned up my desktop of all the loose files, etc. cluttering up the screen so I could play in this:

I'm getting a headache. My mom wanted to listen to music that is on my computer, so I put on some John Denver and now John Barrowman. I LOOOOVE their music. But, it is blasting so she can hear it! And, my speakers are a foot away from my ears ... I still haven't listed anything ...

Fresh hummingbird nectar made.

Phew! Just listed a few things in multiple groups, so hopefully these will move this week.

Having some blackberry kombucha on ice. Mmmm. Much better than the water kefir! I need to work on that!

July 12, 2014

Almost time to start my day. Although I already got roped into helping my mom into the brick box, so she can get the wall painted ...

Need to get cages cleaned, critters fed and watered, laundry done, vacuuming done, floor scrubbed ... all before lunch. Then, after lunch, to the mailbox and the library (to pick up a book I ordered ...)

The rest of the day I hope to get more stuff listed on the local Facebook 'for sale' groups. I've found 8, so far. I've just listed one thing in one group this morning, to test the waters ...

My mom is done with her painting, other than touch-ups she wants to do tomorrow. I got all my cleaning done. I'm going to make a smoothie and then go to the library.
Picked up the book at the library. It's Laurien Berenson's Dog Eat Dog - the next in the series I am reading. I just have a couple of chapters left on Underdog.

Came home and brought the bucks back inside; fed all the critters lunch. Then, watched 18 Again! again. My mom hadn't seen it.

Yay! I sold all my cassette tapes on eBay!

Yay! Sold the bras!

Must get more stuff listed. I have thousands more things I don't need or want.

I have a bunch of stuff lined up to list, but it's too dark in here to take good pics, now. So, will have to get them done tomorrow. Metal picture frame, amber dropper bottles, some books, insulated cup, computer part, etc. for the 'sale' groups. Ear plugs, some books, magazines for the freecycle groups.

July 11, 2014

I didn't even get around to posting a blog yesterday ... I'm sure you didn't miss it! ha! Last night I watched another Anthony Starke movie. He was sooo cute - still is! I watched 18 Again! George Burns! That was a fun movie.

I just got done with today's painting. I got the little brick box walls finished and also painted the numbers and flag holder and put them back up. My mom got half of the lower wall done in the front above the big brick box. The green is almost gone!!!
Tomorrow is cage-cleaning day, so won't get much done outside. My mom says she wants to finish painting the other half of the wall. Sunday, I'll be taking all of the stray nails out of the front and also removing the shutters. My mom will be painting those during the week.

I'm having a yummy banana/blueberry/strawberry raw milk kefir smoothie for lunch. Mmmmm.

Fresh batch of raw milk kefir started and 2 jugs of sun tea done. One is Yogi DeTox/Choice Ginger mix; the other is London Fruit & Herb Strawberry & Vanilla Fool.

Just finished making my first batch of water kefir. It's been on top of one of my fridges for too long. I kept putting off making the second ferment for various dumb reasons ... just lazy! But, the grains seem to have survived. I have a second ferment of blackberry and a new batch on the fridge. I also made some blackberry kombucha second ferment. I only drained about half of the continuous brew, so won't have to make a new batch until next week.

I just watched Abbott & Costello Hit the Ice. That was fun.

I thought I saw a Monarch butterfly earlier in the yard. I ran in to get my camera, but by the time I got back out there, it was gone ... :(
But, I took pics of our little hot peppers! None of the plants are doing very well right now. They got attacked by some kind of aphid or something ... spraying them daily with Dr. Bronner's, but still getting more ...
Last night after I watched Perception, I was still in the mood for some Anthony Starke. So, I watched one of his early movies, Repossessed! That was crazy! But, he looked so young and adorable! Tonight, I think I will watch Return of the Killer Tomatoes which was made a couple of years earlier. And, also starred George Clooney!

It's been a nice day. Pretty cloudy, so it kept it cooler than expected ... but, by the time I got home at about 2:30pm, the clouds had left and the heat was on. It's 98°F right now.
I got my 2 weekly stores in Davis serviced; stopped at the co-op for lunch and to get the bunnies' greens. Then, on the way home, I stopped at the blackberry bushes to forage. Got about a pint again, I think.

I just finished making dinner. Goat steaks sprinkled with Italian seasoning and fried in butter. Side is a bowl of mixed organic fruit (grapes, strawberries, apricots, nectarines, plumcots and blackberries.) And, raw milk with potato starch.
New Perception tonight! And, Anthony Starke is in it. Can't wait!

Well, I got 3 stores serviced today. Had planned to do 5, but my toe was really screaming so I had to stop and come home.

Packaged up the tire chains that I sold on eBay to mail tomorrow.

I'm going to finish watching The Birds now. Didn't finish last night.

July 6, 2014

I just broke my toe ... even made it bleed. Toe next to my little toe on the left foot. Can't put weight on it. Icing it right now. Luckily, I was just finishing getting all the critters up and fed. I had just topped off the water on the fish tank and tripped on the coffee table. Landed in the recliner, so didn't break the glass water jug ... it's good I'm not painting today. I can't stand on the ladder. Probably can't put a shoe on ... still have to work on the A/C, though ... First time this toe has been broken. Usually break the little one on the right foot ... the foot that was broken when my mom dropped the ladder on it last month ... so, I'm hobbling more than ever, now. Luckily, the right foot is nearly recovered ...

Check out my little carnivore!
That chicken wing didn't stand a chance!
I need to make more nectar for the hummers, but can't stand up. May not be able to work on the A/C ... Have to rest my foot so I can work this week ... Can't tape it to the other toe, yet ... ugh. Can't even get to my bathroom for the willow bark and arnica gel!

Done with the A/C. I am good. Only took about 25 minutes to change out both parts! And, everything works. Power is back on. Going to rest for a few and then start listing a few things online after I make fresh hummer nectar ...

Hummers fed. Nikky's food portioned into bowls for 3 days of meals. One ounce per bowl. Let the listings begin!

My toe is looking worse. The bruise is getting darker. Still can't touch it to wrap it to the next toe ...
Decided to get my cane out of the closet. I keep stepping down too much and it hurts, so the cane will help. Toe has swelled double in size and skin is very tight. Owwww.

Smoothie for lunch. Blackberry/strawberry/banana/cacao raw kefir smoothie.

Getting things listed on my blog. Tomorrow, I'll list them on several local FaceBook groups. You can find them under the Yard Sale tag on my QuinGem's Creations blog.

I might lose my nail. Most of the pain is at the nail bed and first joint ... I was finally able to tape it to the middle toe after I took this pic.

Dinner. Cornish Game bird and dates and raw milk with potato starch.
The little squab is 6 days old and eyes opened this morning.
Three more weeks and it's food for Nikky or Ezra.

Listening to the Daniel Vitalis interviews I tried to hear yesterday. Might get through them now.

I am so dreading work this week. My foot is just throbbing. One tiny bone is injured and the whole foot gets out of whack!  :(

Critters are all in bed. I'm going to watch The Birds before I go to bed.
