I felt awful this morning and it really put me behind on doing some things around here. But, I'm playing 'catch up', now. I normally take a 500mg niacin, once a week. I get an intense, burning 'flush' for a short time as it works on toxins, etc. Today, I didn't get much of that, but sure did get nauseous! I took a willow bark capsule. nada. I chewed on some crystallized ginger. nothing. I took a charcoal capsule. nope. I finally swigged some cream and felt relief!

Lunch was salami/cheese/crackers/black olives/hard-boiled egg, with water and a shot of kombucha.

Dinner will be beef shank/marrow, with elderberry milk tea.

It rained off-and-on through the night. Nice. It's raining now, too. Apparently, it rained so much nearer to Kingman, yesterday, that it flooded Highway 93 near Big Wash Trail. 93 is the main road I usually take to Kingman each week.

I got my camera to work without the corrupted micro SD card. I'm so happy! I just took 5 pictures and transferred them to my computer in just a few seconds. No more waiting for Google Photos to show up so I can get my listings done!!

Rain reprieve for the roosters ... I'll get them in the freezer, eventually ...

Time to feed the chickens, then strip my bed and start a load of laundry.

I got a LOT of things listed on eBay today. Check out my sales blog to see the new listings.

One load of laundry done.

Exercises partly done. Jack LaLanne video after dinner.

Lunch was a hamburger and chips, and water.

Dinner is scrambled eggs with shredded chicken mixed in, with peach milk tea.

Started another puzzle.

The rock tumbler experiment starts stage 3 today.

I am so out-of-shape!! Just did my first real exercises in about 2 months. My range-of-motion in my hips is shot! Really need to get that working again, as I have a 'bad' right hip and lower back. I have a date with Jack LaLanne Monday through Friday, from now on. I have to be consistant!

July 25, 2021 - Storm

7:30pm

We had quite a storm earlier. The power was out for most of the county for about 30 minutes or so. We had what I'd call a mini-Haboob. A dust storm and thunderstorm all-in-one. Got some rain and thunder/lightning. The dust storm was about a half mile from me. Seemed to be going north on our main road. It seems to have passed, now. Sun's trying to come out.

Well, I didn't go to the flea market ... I have put it on my calendar for August, weather/wind permitting.

I made 2 more fandom wallpapers this morning. I really enjoyed making them. Manimal and Poirot.

I'm finally in a creative mood ... haven't been for YEARS ... so, I may make some more later.

I got home from shopping in Kingman early today ... before 3 pm! I got food for the chickens, dog and cat. A few things for me. Gas for the truck. Free stuff for the critters from Golden Valley. Spent more than I wanted to, of course ...

Made an eBay sale.

Shipped a sale.

Lunch was water ...

Dinner will be burger patties and bacon.

I'm thinking of selling at Redneck's tomorrow for a few hours. Probably won't, but thinking about it. haha! With the weather cooling down slightly, I really should.

I took these pics of the brats yesterday. Finally showed up in Google Photos this morning. Two broken kitties and a tired old dog.

Exercises done. Dinner sorted for the chickens. Fresh corn and other yummies.

Got some things organized to put in the truck in the morning to take to the flea market at Redneck's. Might go; might not. Depends on how motivated I am in the morning! Got to get back into it. Need money ... I make more on eBay ... but, it's always worth a try elsewhere. I have a bunch of baby clothes, books and other stuff that I don't want to put on eBay ... so, we'll see ...

I got the chicken in the crockpot! So, we'll have chicken falling off the bone for dinner tonight. Mmmm.

And, I got about half the dishes washed. Will finish them after lunch.

Lots of things to get listed on eBay today.

Will get a load of laundry going after I feed the chickies ...

It sounds like it may be rumbling outside already. Clouds moving in for another semi-rainy day. Love it. It is keeping it fairly tolerable in temps. :)

Need to vacuum and clear the living room. I have a lot of stuff that needs to go in my store room. Then, I'll move my mini trampoline back to the living room, so I can use it. The ceiling is way too low in my bedroom to use in there. I did 5 counter push-ups this morning! Will get back to jumping on the trampoline this evening. My lymph glands are stagnating and I'm getting swollen ankles. Must remedy that!! Must get back to my exercises! Will get back to my Jack LaLanne vids on Monday! I will!

I've got to dig into my stash tomorrow to go do my shopping, pay a bill or two and get gas ... Not happy about it, but have to. I had hoped that money would last until the end of the year ... but, don't think it will ... :( I hope I get an oil check next week ...

My first fig of the season! Will be having with lunch today. Last year, there were only 3 figs, total. But, even after the goats demolished it earlier this year, it came back strong! There are at least 10 more figs waiting to ripen!! When I was younger, my only experience with figs was the yucky, fruit-filled 'cookie' (Fig Newtons). They were disgusting ... But, I tried actual figs about 15 years ago and love them!! I'm not sure which variety this is, but I think it is a Black Mission fig.

Lunch will be the fig with crème fraîche; fried egg sandwich, and Virgil's Cream Soda.

Dinner will be slow-cooked chicken, with homemade eggnog (no booze).

Starting another jigsaw puzzle after lunch. Just listed the one I finished last night. :)

I got everything done that I'd planned for the day! That's rare! I'm going to watch TV and work on the puzzle the rest of the evening. :)

I have a lot to do this morning ... I need to ship some sales and a birthday present ... get 2 loads of water for my underground tank ... figure out how to pay a bill ... wash a load of towels ... vacuum ... get some things listed on eBay and work on my graphics site ... and, some more things ... will I get to it all? Maybe ...

I have several phone apps I use to get money back on my shopping receipts ... but, I only use them for actual paper receipts I get from a store. I do not use them when shopping online, because I only use my desktop for that. The phone's screen is waaaay too small for me to see for shopping. I feel like they penalize you for using the desktop for these things ...

Really nice rainstorm happening right now. I was outside in it until the thunder started. Nice and cool feeling. I'd love to sit out there, but if there is lightning ... Had to bring the laundry in from the trailer shed, so I could close the door and keep the rain out ... I really need to fix the door and the screen door out there. I have all the parts, just been too hot to do it ...

Lunch was a salami sandwich and chips, with water.

Dinner will be roast half chicken, if it thaws in time ... with chocolate puerh milk tea.

I got everything done on my list above, except figuring out how to pay a bill with no money, and working on the graphics site ... maybe tomorrow.

My bad hip is killing me, lately. I really need to get back to exercising ...

Oooh. The thunder and lightning is happening. Still raining a bit, too.

I did not get the dishes washed today ... lazy! I'm out of glasses, so have to use a jar at dinner ... :/

I really need to get the chicken yard raked and the debris hauled over to the compost area ... So much to do, but it is starting to stink ... gotta get it done this weekend.

Verizon charges you a fee if you pay your bill in cash, in person ... makes no sense ...

Going to work on a jigsaw puzzle for a while and listen to the thunder.

Chicken didn't completely thaw ... so, I'll have shrimp for dinner. Yum. I'll put the chicken in the slow cooker in the morning, rather than roast it ...

I made an eBay sale this morning.

I just listed my HipCamp site as a free evacuation site. It's a new program through HipCamp for current hosts to allow free camping for those affected by any local natural disasters. Including any animals they need to evacuate. I can host up to 8 people for about 2 weeks, plus their critters. We make no money, but are still covered by HipCamp insurance program.

Yay! Made another sale. Good day! Everything is packed and ready to ship tomorrow, along with a birthday present.
